DIM Supplements and Weight Loss in Women

Other forms of DIM exist, but taking them is futile. The body can only absorb DIM supplements in microencapsulated form.

With the exception of women who are trying to get pregnant, DIM promotes a healthy estrogen metabolism that can reduce the odds of developing breast cancer and other estrogen-related diseases. Eating more cruciferous vegetables like broccoli and cabbage is not a bad idea. If you are trying to lose weight, managing your hormones by eating right and exercising in moderation can make quite an impact. Taking a DIM supplement for good measure might not hurt either.
